Workshop-cum Orientation on Sign Language Interpretation

CRC-Sikkim under NILD Kolkata organized a one-day Workshop-cum Orientation on Sign Language Interpretation on 21 May 2026. The programme was hosted by SRM Sikkim and witnessed active participation from 60 individuals, including students, professors, and non-teaching staff.

The workshop aimed to promote awareness and understanding of sign language interpretation, fostering an inclusive environment for persons with hearing impairments.

An awareness session on the 100 Days TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was also conducted by Shri Shekhar Khatiwada from the State TB Cell, Gangtok. The session highlighted the importance of tuberculosis prevention, early detection, and community participation in achieving a TB-free India.
