Introduction

CRC Sikkim, under the administrative control of National Institute Locomotor Disabilities, NILD Kolkata, Department of Empowerment of Person with Disabilities, DEPwD, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment MSJE, Govt, of India was established in the year 2020 at Assam Lingzey District Pakyong Sikkim. Since  then it has been facilitating the state government in its disability rehabilitation activities.

It has been implementing various scheme of the Department like:

• Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme
• 70 Hrs Employability Skill training Programe.
• ADIP and Rashtriya Vayoshree Yojana, RVY through Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra, PMDK established at the premises of CRC-Sikkim

Started 2 yrs Diploma in Sign Language Interpretation DSLI Course session 2024-2026
